A good way to lose weight with cardio for those that are older or are looking for a more gentle form of exercise is power walking. This form of exercise does not require any sort of special equipment, all you need is a good pair of shoes and clothes that are suitable.

Aside from losing weight cardio exercise routines offer many added health benefits. The risk of heart disease is significantly lowered and it will increase the overall health of a person. Not to mention a lot of these routines are great fun.
